Students will learn the basics of proper singing technique.  They will learn proper vocal placement, breathing technique and muscle support.  In addition to the basics, students will create personalized audition books with song choices that fit their vocal range and type.  These audition books will contain music from many different genres of theatre, ranging from the 1920's through the present.  Students will learn how to choose cuts of music for auditions, work some of their chosen material, and learn how to prepare for professional auditions.
